Aderoute

A delightful walk of 9 km which leads you through three villages: Roelofarendsveen, Oude Wetering en Nieuwe Wetering. Face the elements for a two hour walk, or a bit longer and treat yourself for some coffee or tea and something tasty at:

You start at the ‘Langeweg’ at Roelorarendsveen. Straight ahead to Oude Wetering via Plantage, Veerstraat and Kerkstraat. Turn left and just before the main road ‘Alkemadelaan’ turn right and go under the viaduct, turn left via the ‘Googermolendweg’ along the mill Googermolen, straight ahead on the cycling path. 

Here you will cross the  Aqueduct and continue your walk along the ‘Ringvaart’ towards Nieuwe Wetering. Turn left to the ‘Noordveenweg’ and directly turn right again and continue walking alongside the water of the ‘Ringvaart’. The path will take you along houseboats, meanders along the water of the ‘Hanepoel’ and terminates at the mill Moppenmolen. Back at the Y-junction turn right and keep walking along the ditch. Turn right for the ‘Bovenweg’. When the road bends, straight through the ‘Korte Oostweg’ and at the end, turn left to the ‘Molenweg’. At the end, cross the ‘Achterweg’ diagonally. Straight through along the houses until you get at the ‘Voorweg’ and turn right. Turn left at the end, and go under the viaduct to the ‘Westeinde’. Straight through, towards the Water tower with tulip and the ‘Langeweg’.
