The annual National Windmill Day takes place in the second weekend of May. The millers of Kaag & Braassem open the doors of their mills and wish you a warm welcome. The millers will tell you all about their mills and the craftmanship.

Windmill Day starts in Kaag en Braassem with a good breakfast!
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, many windmills will be open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In Kaag en Braassem, we start a little earlier: at 9:00 AM, the event 'Breakfast with the Miller' begins at the Googermolen (Roelofarendsveen/Oude Wetering).
