Akkerslootmolen
The Akkerslootmolen is an eight sided thatched rof ground-sailor dated from 1793. The mill can be deployed to drain te Akkersloot, Hertogs and Blijverspolder.
In the eighties of the twentieth century, the mill lost its function as the Akkersloot (water) was dammed. Around the year 2000 it was decided to remove the dikes again. Since then the mill is fully operational again.
The Akkerslootmolen is very well visible from all sides and therefore is of important scenic value. The mill can be visited by appointment.
