Braassem Route

The landscape of the Braassemermeer is open and wide. Blue and green are the colours which predominate on a sunny day: Green are the polders, Blue are water and sky. But it can be very rough on the Braassemermeer too, or the Braassem for short. Suddenly mighty clouds can appear. The wind rises, the water turns threatening grey and the rippling little waves turn into vigourous white crested waves. If you’re at the water, seek shelter. Every day is different on the Braassem.
