Registration is mandatory and will cost € 6,00 and the profit will go to the Rijnlandse Mill foundation. After breakfast, the route will be open symbolically after which everyone can go on the road at their own occasion for an informative and sportive Windmill Day.

We highly recommend the Mills and More Walking route, which you can start at the Vlietmolen.

This is a breathtaking walking route of 11 kilometers along beautiful mills, sights and activities in Hoogmade. This route an adventurous tour; party unpaved and you have to climb some fences. 

• Mills and More Walking Route

The Mills and More walking route will take you alongside 10 mills, the beautiful polder landscape and various sights, sidewalk café’s and selling point where you can buy local produce in and around Kaag & Braassem. In the distance you’ll see five more mills, which makes it a total of fifteen mills.

A delightful tour and enjoying the most beautiful spots the region has to offer. Kaag & Braassem is situated in the Green Heart and you’ll notice that during the walking tour. Wide green fields, birdsong and the most beautiful mills complementing the landscape, which all gives it a unique character. Come and discover it for yourself and walk alongside Mills and More!
