Kalkmolen
The Kalkmolen is a smock mill and was built in 1684 to drain the Kalkpolder in Leiderdorp. The mill was partly broken down in 2006 and temporarily stored.
In 2009, the Kalkmolen found a new purpose in Hoogmade: Together with the Doesmolen, it is now being used to drain the Doespolder. When the blades are turning, the mills is open to visitors. You can also make an appointment, if you would like to visit the mill.
